| Benavista is located between San Pedro and Estepona and approximately 65kms from Malaga airport. It is easily accessible from the N340 (km 166). Benavista is an area comprising of a number of custom-built urbanisations, predominantly populated by foreigners. It is situated inland, but is only about 3kms from the beach.

Green fees at Benavista Bowls Club are less the 7,00 and includes bowls hire. Membership costs 6,00, with a 5,00 green fee charge to play. There is also a clubhouse and bar at Benavista Bowls Club.
